From Workshop Feedback to Story
I redesigned the existing learning page showcasing Diffie-Hellman’s Key Exchange for Stiftung Wissen der Sparkasse KölnBonn. The page already existed as a rather static learning page when I held the workshop several times and observed where that the learnings did not quite get through due to many mental abstractions and missing guidance.
In close collaboration with the foundation’s team, we discussed how to add more storytelling to the exercise, especially around the actual key exchange. I proposed the chat-based narrative, redesigned the interaction around it, and rebuilt the page to guide students through the exchange step by step. After a few iterations with the foundation’s staff, we updated the workshop version and now use the redesigned module in the new sessions.
